Back The Choir!

The Colorado State University Pueblo Choirs have been asked to join with members of Soli Deo Gloria community chorus in Colorado Springs to sing Mozart’s Requiem under the direction of Nathaniel Voelker at Carnegie Hall on April 19, 2026.

The 150 voice combined choir will sing the Requiem in honor of Maestro Peter Tiboris, founder of Mid America Productions and eminent conductor. In addition to the rehearsals and the amazing performance opportunity, the singers will enjoy a river cruise on the Hudson and some free time in the Big Apple to see a Broadway show or visit the city’s famous landmarks.

Each student will have to pay their own way, but you can help! The cost of the trip includes the following expenses. You may choose to sponsor any portion of the costs or donate any amount.

  • Carnegie Hall Performance Package $1300
  • Initial Deposit per singer $300
  • Estimated airfare and hotel $500
  • Meals $200
