Funding Your Education

Five, $2,000 scholarships are awarded once a year, ($1,000 in Fall and $1,000 in Spring). A new application and essay must be submitted each year.  You may only be awarded this scholarship once. Applications must be submitted by Monday, July 15th at 5:00pm MST.

An applicant must:

1. Be a U.S. Veteran, Active Duty Service Member, National Guard/Reserve Member or Dependent of a Veteran or Active Duty Service Member
2. Enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate or graduate student
3. Maintain 2.5 GPA per semester
4. Submit an essay
   • Must submit an essay with a minimum of 500 words

 Essay Question for the 24-25 academic year:

"Discuss the unique challenges and opportunities faced by active-duty military members, veterans, or dependents in pursuing higher education. How can universities better support these individuals?"

Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA)
